"Hobnail boot..." is a classic, and every fan looks to "Lindsay Scott, Lindsay Scott..." "Sugar falling from the sky" has to be up there, but probably some of my favorite moments is when he says, "What do you have for us Loran?" While everything Larry says sounds like he just won or lost the lottery, Loran could win $50 million and show no emotion whatsoever. With Munson, you have Mr. excitement, sometimes so overcome with the moment that he forgets to tell the listener what just happened for what can seem like the longest 5 seconds in football. With Loran, you've got a good ol' boy who's content just being there to talk with the Coach and players about their latest science test, pets, or growing up on a mango farm.
So many great moments......but I have to say....I thought some of his best stuff was at the end of the Tech game this year....the last 7-8 minutes were gold....so much so that I told Katrina on the way home that I had a feeling that might be it for him....granted I was think more along the lines that the guy might not be with us for 2007.....anyway....a few others for me....the Bobo to Allen TD against Tech......the Bobo to Allen TD against AU (the OT game)....the Sean Jones fumble recovery against UT.....If this is it.....Saturdays in Athens will be a little empty for a while.....

I have no favorite Munson moment, just a least favorite Munson moment.
