Odd....but I agree
Anyone else think its a bit odd that LSU lost at home to an unranked Arkansas...whose job is apparently on the line....and only dropped a few places in the polls, while Kansas lost to the now # 1 ( not unanimous, I admit) Missouri Tigers and fell even farther? Don't get me wrong...I agree that LSU is better and would likely win a game between the two, but if Kansas has only one loss to the # 1 team in the nation, you would think they might be....Oh, #2. But the polls look at overall schedule, etc and KU's is not even close to being considered strong. I think the pollsters have been expecting to drop them for weeks....and even with the strong showing in the 4th quarter the other night, they were due to drop. It obviously helps the Dawgs that the pollsters view of things is what it is......but I do think it is odd. Thoughts?

I think it is exactly as you say. The pollsters know that Kansas has played a weak schedule and have not proven themselves to be one of the top 5 teams in the country...so a loss allows them to make a correction.
LSU on the other hand has played one of the toughest schedules in the toughest conference and it has still taken 6 overtimes for them to get their losses.
In this case they got it right.
i felt the opposite. I thought Kansas would drop further, maybe behind VT, LSU. This schedule is a disgrace...
