Flag Boy has a Friend

I don't know how many of you were at the Sugar Bowl in Atlanta two years ago....but I was....and saw with my own eyes a West Virginia Flag boy that was waving his banner stronger and more proudly than Tech's flag boy could have ever dreamed. Anyway, I was watching the game last night and after one of the many WV scores the camera panned the WV band section and to my suprise...WV not only has one flag boy....but now they have at least 2. They were celebrating proudly with all the other ladies in the flag core. It was quite a sight.

After some searching...I have found some pics and apparently one of them is not just a flag boy...but a twirl boy. See links for action pics.

After even a bit more....it is confirmed that there are multiple flag boys in the colorguard (which I have discovered is the WV name for flag core).

If you didn't notice...I am very bored at school today.

After the first 2 I threw up in my mouth a little bit. However, I was thinking that these guys might just want to travel with the team and have great seats for the game. Nah, you've got to draw the line somewhere.

Apparently there really isn't that much to do in West Virginia after all.

Fox is terrible about showing the same camera angle over and over. The dudes in the spandex got quite a bit of air time for WV and I knew this would make it on to the PRF.

Also, if I didn't know better, I'd think UGA was replete with fat ugly girls, based on the handful of drill team they kept showing, and I'd be under the misapprehension that Jake played a mean horn, filling the role of artist in residence for the redcoats.

FOX is rolling out the skeleton crew for these games. They placed stationary camers on the bands. Last night, we kept seeing the same shots of KU and VT band the entire game. It go very old, zero creativity. It's defienetley not the same as their NFL coverage where we get a ton of shots of players with better angles for replays. I am very dissapointed in FOX. But their HD is amazing!

Dude....your paying a little too much attention to those pics. Granted, I looked 'em up...but I didn't notice their names or anything....but I gotta admit...I'm glad you did. That's too funny.
