Football and TV

It seems I had no takers on my Tribal Christianity post below. And I thought that one was irresistible. Oh well.

Shifting gears ... as if you need convincing, this projected TV schedule was put together by "Jim from Duluth". This really drives the point home about our schedule this year. Can anyone say, "Holy shny-kies!" For the full article, http://www.dawgrun.com/message_board/georgia/2008/April/21/529011.php

Aug 30: GSU (Possibly Sportsouth picks it up)
Sep 6: C Michigan - Raycom 12:30
Sep 13: @ SC - CBS 3:30
Sep 20: @ ASU - ABC 8:00
Sep 27: Alabama - ESPN 7:45
Oct 11: Tennessee - CBS 3:30 - and it is payback time!
Oct 18: Vandy - Raycom 12:30
Oct 25: @ LSU - CBS 3:30
Nov 1: FL - CBS 3:30
Nov 8: @ Kentucky - Raycom 12:30
Nov 15: @ Auburn - CBS 3:30
Nov 29: Tech - CBS 3:30

Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson may qualify for tenure if this holds true. If you're counting: 6 games on CBS not including the SEC Champ, 3 on Raycom, though you have to imagine ESPN2 would take UGA/KY over FL/Vandy if UGA beats UF. They also might take UGA/Vandy over UT/MSU if UGA beats UT. 1 on ESPN, and 1 on ABC. Anywhere between 6-10 games in prime time.

I'm not sure what this means except to say it makes for a great experience. I have grown to like early games because you can take the family and enjoy the day, but there's nothing like Saturday night electricity in the SEC. And I'd like to be able to play some tennis in the AM!
