The Big Hurt...

Sturdivant is gone for the season. With the possible exception of losing Stafford or Knowshaun, I believe losing him at LT is the most devastating loss we could have. He was a rock, protecting the QBs back in the pocket and opening holes big enough for the children of Israel to wander through. If there is an upside; this happened before the season begins, allowing us to flex and shift the line and not burn up a year of eligibility with him.

Here's to a speedy recovery and to doing what it takes to fill these very big and very important shoes.

Ey yi yi! There could've been worse UGA headlines to wake up to, but this one is near the top of the list. Even during the rough patch, Sturdivant was being dubbed college football's best future tackle.

Like you said, good that it happened now and not say, after the 2nd game.

I'm with Jeebs....he was one of the guys I didn't want this to happen to.....we do have time to shift and I have faith in CSS to coach 'em up....not sure if anyone caught the story about Kiante Tripp, i think, anyway, he dislocated his thumb and ran of the field......Stacy looked at him and said..."What are doing? Get back in there.."
