This Saturday in Athens

Looks like its gonna be 60 degees and sunny at game time tomorrow...so here's hoping the Dawgs make it an all around great day. I predict a High 20's for the home team (maybe 27) to a low teens for the visitors (maybe 13). That put's a bit of a strain on the numbers Toom was throwing around....but hopefully there's no real money at stake there. Heard Tuckman will be making an appearance again tomorrow...which has been a good thing so far this year. Also, we're gonna be heading back to Taco Stand downtown about 10 AM.....returning to the way things started in 2006. We've taken the last two games off to visit the Chick-fil-a at the Student center and things haven't gone so well on the field afterward. I will take full responsibility for those actions and for the consequences that followed...esp since it appears the real coaching staff keeps spreading the blame to the players. Just curious...does anyone else think its the coach's responsibility to make sure the players execute? One more thing....anyone else think Toom's Corner has an odd bit of an Auburn feel to it? Toom likes to bust Levelhead for coming to Athens while his Plainsmen have a home game (which is certainly grounds for excommunication if you ask me) but then turns around and names his weekly post after a game winning Auburn tradition (which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of a school doing to itself in celebration). Hey everybody...if UGA wins tomorrow what'ya say we head over to the Arches and spray paint them red???? Makes about just as much sense.

It was obvious to me that Toom's Corner had an unfortunate alliteration. Now that you've mentioned it, I need to come up with something else.

I'll try and make Taco Stand but if everyone is an hour late, I probably won't. Trying to make Dawgwalk.

Absolutely it is the coach's responsibility that you execute. Dealing with a fragile psyche is difficult stuff, though. You teach fundamentals and I think we've done a good job with that - but getting the performance anxiety to go away is tougher. Thinking about dropped balls here.

But heck, you know more about the coaching thing than I.

I think I may get out of the UGA jersey game. I have a #6 at home and bought Tucker a #20. I'm going to pass on buying #7, which I saw online is on rush production.
