I can't believe it's been this quiet leading up to Auburn.....I'll take it that everyone else has been as busy as I have been and just hasn't had the time......let me start by saying that I hate Auburn.....rather then get into stuff about the game I want to see where everyone else is on this......the Black jersey rumor.......what do you think??
I am a bit biased because the Ghetto Bulldogs of NCAA 2006 (PS2) of course wear black....and we all look very good in it......but as far as the real Dawgs go, I'm not sure I like it.....I hated the stupid jerseys UF wore against us a couple of years ago with one sleeve different......I like our jerseys as is.......of course I am also a guy that never liked anything but silver britches.
So, will you be stoked if the Dawgs run out of the tunnel in Black?

I was "stoked" and I think they are the best looking jerseys we have. The combo of Red, Black, and Silver was too sweet...along with the play of them Dawgs....it made for one great night. I do not think we should wear them except for certain times (maybe one reg. season game and bowls) to get the boys hyped. Wearing them in the bowl games would be ideal...esp since we are known for coming out flat. Maybe this could help a bit.

OK.....I have to say seeing the Dawgs run out in black was one of the best experiences I have had in Sanford Stadium....they looked like the Ghetto Bulldogs and played like us too.....I think it really fired the players up and (I agree with Chunk) if we play it right and only bring them out for really special occasions I think it could be a great motivator ...I watched the replay last night and the overhead shots of the stadium were too cool.
The other thing I noticed was the personal fouls called against us were even more touchy than I thought they were...Kelin was acting a fool and probably had his coming but the others were almost a joke...even Verne and Gary were questioning them.......The CBS crew went back and showed us doing different things with our jerseys over the years...they all had to do with the pants.....I like the jersey thing much better....I was never a fan of the red or black pants.
It is great to drive around B'ham with my Super G and know that this year we owned this state....radio over here has been awesome....they are really talking the Dawgs up.
