AJC reports that Van Gorder will take his 5th new job in 5 years as Defensive Coordinator for the SC Gamecocks! Spurrier may not be the devil, but just when I think I'm over his intimidation he kicks things up a notch and leaves me steaming.
He and his less than average team kept us from competing for the National Championship this season, and to top it off, he hires one of our own to makes us dislike him too. I think I'm going to be sick.

You know at first.....I felt the same way...I thought "great...know we're in trouble"....but after I thought a little more about it I'm not as worried....and this is why.....Charlie Strong and Tyrone Nix are both outstanding DC's and they always played us into frustration while at SC....and now they have another outstanding DC in Brian....but the hitch is...all but a hand full of our staff has first hand knowledge of his philosophy and his tendencies....things we didn't have with CS or TN.....do I think it will be tough...absolutely I do, but what it won't be is a mystery...the slight edge we might have would be that when BVG was in Athens Bobo was just coaching the QB's so our offense will look a little different than it did then.
They have always played us tough so I don't see much changing other than I hate that he hooked up with the Evil One.
