I was able to speak to Amanda this afternoon and the family is very appreciative of everyone’s continued prayers.
They did receive some good news this morning that Ed’s body responded positively to the dialysis and his white blood cell count is down which means his body has been able to fight off some of the infection. The next 24hrs are extremely critical. Each hour that he is able to fight over the next 24 will increase his chance of long term recovery. He is currently sedated and on life support but the family is filled with hope.
Continue to pray that God would give Ed strength to fight and that He would provide His peace and presence to the family as they go through this difficult time.
