According to the AJC, it appears that Fulmer is resigning tonight. 5 years from now perhaps Peyton Manning would take the helm. However, I don't see anyone in the picture today who can take UT to a competitive level in the SEC East any time soon. Thoughts?

Mike Leach at TT. He is losing all his players to the NFL or graduation and the $$$ Tenn. has will be hard to turn down.
I don't know if ESPN knows anything about this but if they do, the list of candidates is not impressive to me. Muschamp, Kiffin, Leach, and a couple others sound like you're going for the quick and exciting pick.
Now David Cutcliffe, that would scare me a little. Here's hoping they go for the hot name like Leach.
If it is Leach...I feel a bit sorry for him. He is literally in the middle of a National Championship run and this crap is gonna come up. He's not even really gonna be able to answer or avoid the questions without looking like a turd. On a side note....did you know that during the 1980 season Vince Dooley had been offered the Auburn job and was going to accept it. He was even going to forego coaching in the National Championship game. I never knew this until a couple of weeks ago. Crazy.
