Turns out my (and Toom's) Pa Pa, Julius Edison Talton, was a member of the Pea Ridge Lions club many years ago. They used to meet behind the old Rehoboth Elementary School. This metal tag was once mounted to the front of his car. How's that for genuine Pea Ridge lore?

What the?...That's some sweet action! Where did you find that?
I saw where there is a bluegrass band called the Pea Ridge Boys that plays around. I sense an upswelling, perhaps we're ready to market this brand. If only we had a product line...
I mentioned the blog to my mom, and she dug this out of a drawer. I could arrange for a private showing for you, as I am keeping it in an undisclosed location.
When she pulled it out, it was if I had taken a garage sale relic to the Antique Roadshow only to find that it was worth a million dollars. True Gold.
That is indeed a fine piece of PR history. You two probably have the best knowledge....do either of you know where exactly Pea Ridge began and ended in North/South/East/West relation?
I mentioned it to Tobe I (Jebo's mom is Tobe II) and she knew exactly what it was.
