I can't come to a decision regarding what to wear to the game this weekend. It got me thinking how different these road trips are compared to, say, my first Cocktail Party in 1993 or a road game to LSU I took 10 years ago. (Last time we won there, I think)

1993 - 1st trip to Jacksonville
2008 - 10th consecutive trip to Jacksonville
1993 - someone talked me into going, last minute.
2008 - Been planning on going for 10 years
1993 - Didn't have a ticket, nor a place to stay.
2008 - Secured tickets in March, picked them up today, staying at the same place we have been staying for years, booked months ago
1993 - Rode down with the girl I was dating at the time and another couple (we sort of split up down there and I had to find another ride back).
2008 - We'll be taking my family truckster, no girls allowed. I'm fairly certain we'll all come back together.
1993 - We end up in a hotel room with about 7 people. Slept like a baby.
2008 – We’ll be pretty crowded with 5. I usually end up in bed with Haynes. I'll have to take some sleeping pills with all the noises those guys make.
1993 - Even with others in the same bed, you'd be surprised what a motivated 20 year old can accomplish
2008 – Nah
1993 – The Landing on Friday was crazy!
2008 – Actually, I’m making a push to go back to the Landing. After we play golf and eat some dinner at Cowboys.
1993 – Sat AM Waffle House, counting my pennies
2008 – Oasis, with the boys
1993 – Lost the game, rained like hell, became a Dawg fan forever. The loss didn’t bother us all that much.
2008 – A loss might ruin Christmas
